Provenance:

The 981 Cayman GT4 is on its way to being one of the lightest road going GT4 produced. Built as a track focused weapon weighing in under 3k lbs and boasting a mid-engine 3.8L flat six with near 400 hp on tap, you’ll find yourself winding out gears and smiling as this car sticks. We are firm believers when considering the curb weight, manual transmission, and overall size, the 981 GT4’s will continue to climb in value. Under $100k and set up for track duty, yet comfortable enough to take out for dinner, this series of GT4 offers one of the best driving experiences of modern sports cars. Finished in Sapphire Blue, it not only looks good, it performs better than most other competitors on the road...in the right hands of course. If you haven't piloted this generation of GT4's, do yourself a favor and drive one before they’re value is out of reach.

This particular example was originally delivered to its first owner in by Porsche of the Village in Cincinnati, OH and remained with the first owner until July 2018 when it transferred hands by private party to the second owner in Richmond, OH. The second owner is a friend and past customer of ours who over-services every vehicle he owns. He was also responsible for all uprated items installed listed below. We love owners like him as they are fantastic care takers of vehicles and care for them with white gloves. He has documented every service item along with date and miles with detailed notes in a separate maintenance booklet displayed in the photos below. The vehicle served as daily driver and saw many HPDE’s annually. He’s an experienced driver and experienced tech. After most track events the vehicle was cleaned and detailed.

In April 2024, the second owner fell in love with a low mile and well optioned 2014 911 Turbo we had available and quickly found a home for the GT4. As detailed as his listing was, a buyer appeared within a week and the third and current owner from Peebles, OH purchased the vehicle in April 2024 with 26,888 miles. Since purchasing, the vehicle has been driven on b-roads and has seen just over 1,300 miles since changing hands. The current owner absolutely loves the GT4, but has decided to part ways due to unforeseen health issues. Thankfully, he has a 992 C2S in the garage to keep him smiling. Vehicle has been garaged since new and on a tender when not driven.
