This example combines its exceptionally low mileage with strong documentation, including its original Chevrolet window sticker, Indiana title documentation and service records. It recently received more than $2,300 in service at Capitol City Ford, including an oil and filter change and four new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

Additional standard Z06 equipment includes the 7.0 liter LS7 V8, six speed manual transmission, dry sump oil system, limited slip differential, Head Up Display, HID xenon headlamps, dual zone electronic climate control, four wheel independent suspension and Z06 performance braking system.

LS7 PERFORMANCE

At the heart of the C6 Z06 is Chevrolet's 7.0 liter LS7 V8, paired exclusively with a six speed manual transmission. The Z06 specification went considerably beyond additional horsepower. The LS7 utilizes a dry sump oiling system, while the chassis incorporates Z06 specific suspension and braking components along with an extensive focus on weight reduction.

The result is a remarkably straightforward performance formula: a large displacement naturally aspirated V8, six speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive.

Nearly two decades later, that simplicity is a significant part of the C6 Z06's appeal. There are no turbochargers or automatic transmission separating the driver from the experience. The LS7 and manual gearbox remain the centerpiece of the car.

PROVENANCE

This Z06 has a particularly nice Indiana history. Its first documented Indiana title was issued in July 2006 at just 105 miles. The first reported owner retained the Corvette for approximately a decade, with Indiana registration records continuing through 2015.

The Corvette changed ownership in 2016 at approximately 6,200 miles, followed by another Indiana ownership change in 2017 at approximately 6,286 miles. During the following years, the car received documented service through Chevrolet dealerships and specialty facilities in Indiana.

By September 2020, the Z06 had accumulated only 14,401 miles. The Corvette subsequently came to Capitol City Ford in Indianapolis. The accompanying Indiana title documents 14,428 actual miles when Capitol City Ford took title in January 2021. CARFAX likewise documents the dealer taking title while the Corvette was held in inventory.

Very little mileage has accumulated since. The current odometer shows just 15,302 miles, and the Corvette is now being offered by MOTORVAULT on behalf of its local collector consignor.

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

The Z06 benefits from documented service throughout its low mileage history. Most recently, the car was serviced by Capitol City Ford on June 11, 2026 at 15,287 miles. The dealer performed an engine oil and filter change and replaced all four tires. The accompanying invoice notes that the previous tires were replaced due to age related dry rot and total cost service was $2,352.30. Vehicle has seen 15 miles since service.

WHEELS, TIRES & BRAKES

The Z06 retains its optional factory polished aluminum wheels, a $1,295 option when new. The wheels show deterioration to the factory finish consistent with age and would benefit from refinishing. Detailed photographs are provided to accurately represent their current condition.

A fresh set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires was installed by Capitol City Ford in June 2026.

Finished in optional Velocity Yellow Tintcoat, a $750 factory option, this Z06 wears one of the most recognizable colors offered on the C6. The wider Z06 bodywork, functional brake cooling ducts, polished aluminum wheels, cross drilled rotors and red Corvette calipers give the car an unmistakable presence while retaining its factory appearance.

The Velocity Yellow exterior contrasts especially well with the Ebony cabin and polished wheels.

As with any vehicle approaching 20 years of age, minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age and mileage may be present. MOTORVAULT provides extensive photography so prospective buyers can evaluate the vehicle's condition in detail.
