VEHICLE OVERVIEW

MOTORVAULT is offering this 2003 Ford Thunderbird James Bond 007 Limited Edition, one of just 700 examples produced to commemorate the Thunderbird's appearance in the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day. Finished in exclusive Coral over Performance White leather, the 007 Edition features a contrasting Performance White removable hardtop with porthole windows, chrome alloy wheels, unique interior trim, and commemorative 007 identification.

The special edition was inspired by the Thunderbird driven by Halle Berry's character, Jinx, in Die Another Day. All 700 production examples received the distinctive Coral exterior and Performance White interior combination.

This Thunderbird comes from a prominent Indianapolis automotive collector family with an extensive private vehicle collection. This ecample has been garaged since new and maintained as part of a collection overseen by full-time staff responsible for the vehicles' ongoing care and upkeep. It has been stored indoors under a fitted cover, connected to a battery maintainer when not in use, and driven sparingly throughout its life.

Power comes from a 3.9 liter DOHC V8 producing 280 horsepower and 286 lb ft of torque, paired with a five speed SelectShift automatic transmission and rear wheel drive.

The vehicle is accompanied by its removable hardtop, hardtop storage stand, convertible top tonneau cover, two keys, and original owner's manuals retained in their zippered binder. Recent service performed by Capitol City Ford includes four replacement tires, a new battery, engine oil and filter service, air conditioning service, and additional maintenance inspections.

EXTERIOR

The Coral exterior finish was exclusive to the James Bond 007 Edition and was developed to replicate the color of the Thunderbird featured in Die Another Day.

The contrasting Performance White removable hardtop incorporates the Thunderbird's signature circular porthole windows. A black power operated convertible soft top is fitted beneath the removable hardtop.

OWNERSHIP & VEHICLE HISTORY

This Thunderbird has been part of a large Indianapolis automotive collector family's private collection, where it has reportedly remained garaged and carefully maintained since new. The collection has been overseen by full-time staff responsible for maintaining and caring for the family's vehicles. This example has been stored indoors under a cover, kept connected to a battery tender when not in use, and driven sparingly.

The accompanying Indiana Certificate of Title, issued September 17, 2008, documents ownership transfer to the current owners with 2,460 miles recorded at that time. The title was issued as a normal Indiana title with the odometer designated actual mileage.

The accompanying CARFAX Vehicle History Report dated October 15, 2026 shows no reported accidents or damage.

WHY WE LOVE IT

The James Bond 007 Edition is one of the more interesting variations of Ford's modern Thunderbird, combining the original two seat roadster's styling with a connection to the James Bond film franchise. Limited to just 700 examples, the Coral and Performance White combination was exclusive to this edition and remains distinctive more than two decades later. We particularly appreciate the contrasting hardtop, chrome wheels, and subtle 007 identification.

What stands out about this particular example is its history within a local automotive collector family's collection. Long-term indoor storage, oversight by dedicated staff, limited use, and Ford dealership maintenance are all details we appreciate.
