Provenance:

This 1970 Chevelle is a wonderful example of a pinnacle muscle car icon. In 2014, this Chevelle was rotisserie restored to a very high quality with no bolt overlooked. Finished in its original paint scheme of Cranberry Red with black stripes, the Chevelle now boasts a thumping 454 V8. During the restoration process, the numbers matching 396 V8 was found to have a significant crack in the block. The decision was made to replace the 396 with a more powerful but similarly designed 454. Since the completion of the restoration, the Chevelle has seen just over 2,200 miles. 1,400 were completed by the long-term Chicago owner until he sold it to the current Indy-based owner, who has added 800 miles over the last few years. MOTORVAULT is proud to represent this muscle car legend.
