Professionally Built 1967 Half-Cab Bronco with Coyote V8 Power
Coyote-Powered | Velocity Restorations Build |
This 1967 Ford Bronco is a professionally restored and thoughtfully modernized half-cab pickup that blends iconic first-generation Bronco styling with contemporary performance and comfort. Acquired by the current owner in 2006, the truck underwent a comprehensive rebuild between 2016 and 2017 by Velocity Restorations of Cantonment, Florida. Finished in silver with a black roof over black leather upholstery, this Bronco is offered on dealer consignment with a clean Florida title.
Why We Love It
Early Broncos are icons, but exceptionally well-executed builds are increasingly difficult to find. This half-cab stands out thanks to its professional restoration by Velocity Restorations, modern 5.0-liter Coyote V8 power, and a carefully curated selection of upgrades that enhance drivability without compromising classic character. This Bronco represents an early Velocity Restorations half-cab build, making it a particularly rare and desirable example from one of the most respected names in the industry. The rare half-cab configuration adds further collectibility, while features like air conditioning, Wilwood brakes, and a refined interior make it genuinely usable. With low miles since completion and a clean Florida title, this Bronco embodies the balance of vintage appeal and modern performance we seek at MOTORVAULT.

Powertrain
Power is provided by a Ford 5.0-liter Coyote V8 paired with a 4R70W four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. A dual-range transfer case with JB Fabrication twin-stick shifters sends power to the rear or all four wheels through Tom Woods driveshafts and 31-spline axles. Supporting upgrades include an aftermarket cold air intake, a Painless wiring harness, a billet aluminum fuel tank with an ISSPRO sending unit, and a dual exhaust system fitted with Walker Quiet-Flow stainless steel mufflers.
Chassis & Suspension
The Bronco features a suspension lift utilizing Wild Horses springs and Bilstein shocks. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with hydroboost assistance, while Warn manually locking hubs support off-road functionality. The Bronco retains its original stock chassis, which was fully inspected and refreshed during the Velocity Restorations build to ensure structural integrity and long-term reliability.
Exterior
The truck was refinished in silver with a contrasting black roof and fitted with matching fiberglass wheel-arch extensions. Custom steel bumpers were installed, with the front incorporating an integrated LED light bar and auxiliary spotlights. Additional exterior features include JW Speaker LED headlights, tinted taillights and side markers, black trim and door handles, AMP Research power-retractable side steps, and a spray-in bed liner with a retractable bed cover. The factory half-cab top is removable, allowing the truck to be enjoyed in open-air configuration.
Wheels & Tires
17" American Racing wheels
305/65 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires
Matching spare stored in the bed
Interior
The cabin is trimmed in black leather and equipped with a roll bar, three-point seatbelts, and a Tuffy locking center console. Comfort and convenience features include Vintage Air climate control, fiberglass door panels, under-dash ambient lighting, and a Pioneer CD stereo with Bluetooth paired with Kicker speakers. The seating position offers ample legroom and headroom for most drivers, with a comfortable driving position thanks to modern seats, tilt steering column, and thoughtful interior layout.
Instrumentation
A Billet Specialties steering wheel mounted on an Ididit tilt column frames a Dakota Digital instrument cluster with a 120-mph speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.
